The Universidad de la República (Uruguay) will host the XII Jean Monnet Network Seminar – BRIDGE WATCH, under the theme “Green Transition and Sustainable Societies.”

This international event will bring together scholars and experts from around the world to explore major challenges and developments related to the green transition, sustainable development, and cooperation between Latin America and the European Union.

The three-day programme will feature a seminar, a training course, and a workshop. The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation.

Call for Papers

The Call for Papers on the theme “Green Transition and Sustainable Societies” is open until September 4, 2026 (Uruguay time, GMT-3).

Selected papers will be presented at the Workshop, with the possibility of presenting in person or online.

This initiative is part of the BRIDGE WATCH project, integrated into the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate and funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission. The project seeks to deepen knowledge and dialogue on shared values between Latin America and the European Union.
