We are pleased to announce the XII Workshop of the Jean Monnet Network – BRIDGE Watch Seminar, a Policy Debate initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. This edition of the Workshop will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay, on October 6, 2026, in a hybrid format, at the the Universidad de la República (Udelar), in Montevideo, Uruguay, in collaboration with the Latin America Center of European Studies (LACES).
We invite academics and researchers to submit scientific papers for presentation at the Workshop of the XII Jean Monnet Network – BRIDGE Watch Seminar, under the theme: “Green Transition and Sustainable Societies“.
Submissions are accepted in English, Spanish, or Portuguese, either individually or in co-authorship (preferably up to three authors). Undergraduate students are also encouraged to participate, preferably in collaboration with master’s or doctoral students.
Full papers must be submitted by 4 September 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Uruguay time (GMT-3) via an online form.
Recognition and Publication
The Organizing Committee will select the best papers to be:
– Presented during the Workshop (hybrid format).
– Considered for publication in the Thematic Dossier of the 12th Edition of the Latin American Journal of European Studies (ISSN 2763-8685), following a double-blind peer review process.
– Awarded: The most outstanding contribution will receive the Jean Monnet BRIDGE Watch Scientific Merit Award
