XI Jean Monnet Network Seminar – BRIDGE WATCH | Lisbon, Portugal

Registration is now open for the XI Jean Monnet Network Seminar – BRIDGE WATCH, which will take place from 13 to 15 April 2026 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, in hybrid format.

Under the theme “Fair and Free Trade for Inclusive Economies,” the event will feature 56 experts from 14 countries, bringing together researchers, academics, and professionals to discuss contemporary challenges in international trade between the European Union and Latin America.

The programme includes a seminar, the presentation of the Bridge Watch Reports, an academic workshop, and thematic roundtables, spread across three days of activities.

The initiative is part of the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate “BRIDGE Watch: Values and Democracy in the EU and Latin America,” co-funded by the European Commission. The project brings together 14 universities from Latin America and Europe under the co-coordination of the University of Lisbon and the Federal University of Santa Catarina. With the support of several international and regional institutions, the seminar further reflects the project’s collaborative and multidisciplinary approach.
