The Paraguayan National Tourism Secretariat Declares the VIII Jean Monnet Network BRIDGE Watch Seminar as of National Tourism Interest!

The VIII Jean Monnet Network BRIDGE Watch Seminar: “Paths to Democracy: Lessons from the European Union and Latin America”, which will be held from October 14 to 16, 2024, in Asunción, Paraguay, has been officially recognized as an event of national tourism interest by the Paraguayan National Tourism Secretariat.

The seminar’s activities will take place at prominent locations, including the Mercosur Permanent Review Court, the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the National University of Asunción, and the Superior Court of Electoral Justice of Paraguay.

This recognition highlights the importance of the event, which not only fosters academic dialogue but also promotes cooperation between decision-makers and stakeholders, extending the impact of the BRIDGE Watch project beyond the academic environment.

The event is part of the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate “BRIDGE Watch: Values and Democracy in the EU and Latin America”, a project aimed at strengthening relations and mutual understanding between the European Union and Latin America. The project is a collaboration of 14 universities across these continents, led by the University of Lisbon and the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
