The Latin American Journal of European Studies (ISSN 2763-8685) has been recently included in the Latindex indexation system. This achievement marks a significant acknowledgment of the journal’s quality and pertinence in its field, thereby enhancing accessibility and visibility for researchers and scholars interested in this niche. The journal concentrates its editorial efforts on the Law and Policies of the European Union and the Union’s International Relations with third countries, including Latin America.
Latindex is a collaborative project initiated in 1995 at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, aimed at compiling and disseminating information on serial scientific publications from Latin America. It offers two main services: a directory that encompasses both print and digital journals, and a select catalog of online journals adhering to stringent quality standards. Its goals are to unify efforts in the production and dissemination of academic journals, to enhance their quality and impact, to boost their international visibility, and to influence policies on scientific information.
Latindex caters to a broad audience, including researchers, professors, students, and librarians. It spans across Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, and Portugal, also covering journals that specialize in Ibero-American topics globally. The initiative is open to all disciplines and accepts publications in any of the languages spoken across the region.
