Save the Date: XI Jean Monnet Network Seminar – BRIDGE WATCH | Lisbon, Portugal

The University of Lisbon will host the XI Jean Monnet Network Seminar – BRIDGE WATCH, under the theme “Fair and Free Trade for Inclusive Economies.”

This international event will bring together leading scholars and experts from around the world to discuss major issues related to international trade and cooperation between Latin America and the European Union.

The three-day programme will include a seminar, a round table, and a workshop. The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation.

Call for Papers

The Call for Papers on the theme “Fair and Free Trade for Inclusive Economies” is open until 2 March 2026 (Portugal time – GMT+0).

Selected papers will be presented at the Workshop, to be held on 14 April 2026, with the possibility of in-person or online presentation.

This initiative is part of the BRIDGE WATCH project, integrated into the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate, and funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission. The project seeks to deepen knowledge on shared values between Latin America and the European Union.
