New vacancies have been announced for the European Union’s trainee program within its delegations in Latin America, specifically:
Funded traineeship for young graduates at the EU Delegation to Peru, Mexico and Bolivia

Funded traineeship for young graduates at the EU Delegation to Peru:
Deadline: 18/04/2025
A traineeship of 6 months within the following sections of the EU Delegation to Peru, starting in 1 June 2025.
Qualifications or special requirements:
- At least a Bachelor Diploma in a field relevant to the traineeship profile. A Master degree in a relevant field is an asset;
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish;
- Good knowledge or specialisation in Latin America, knowledge of Peruvian political and/or economic context is an asset;
- Good social media skills and software skills;
- Ability to draft documents (briefings, reports etc.) in English and Spanish;
- Knowledge of statistics and data analysis is a strong asset;
- Some knowledge of graphic design is an asset.
Funded traineeship for young graduates at the EU Delegation to Mexico:
Deadline: 21/04/2025
A traineeshipof up to 6 months within the Political, Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Mexico, starting in July 2025.
Qualifications or special requirements:
- Young BA graduates with at least relevant University degree, e.g. in international relations, political science or EU affairs. The selected candidate must present her/his diploma by the signature of the traineeship agreement at the latest and will have less than 1 year of professional experience on July 1st, 2025 ;
- Very good command of Spanish and English (oral and written);
- Ability to conduct political analysis of developing events;
- Familiarity with Mexican/Latin American politics is preferable;
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
Funded traineeships for young graduates at the EU Delegation to Bolivia:
Deadline: 30/04/2025
Traineeships of up to 6 months within the Political, Press and Information Section (PPI) section of the EU Delegation to Bolivia, starting in June at the earliest 2025.
Qualifications or special requirements:
- Taking into account the local health and security conditions, applicants currently residing in Bolivia will only be considered.
- University degree in Political Science, Communications, Business, Economic, Social, Law or related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of oral and written English and Spanish (to be tested).
- Analytical skills (to be tested).
- Strong skills and quality in producing contents for social media.
- Maximum one year of professional experience.
