On October 22 and 23, the I Jean Monnet Chair Seminar will be held at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in a hybrid format.
On October 22, at 9:00 a.m., there will be a book presentation, followed at 9:30 a.m. by the ‘Cátedra Jean Monnet’ Workshop, during which 12 papers will be presented. In the afternoon, at 2:30 p.m., a roundtable discussion will be held as part of the I UFSC International Week with the theme: “Ações Jean Monnet na UFSC: fortalecendo a cooperação internacional”. The roundtable will feature the participation of the Jean Monnet Chair holder, Professor Aline Beltrame de Moura (UFSC, Brazil), alongside Professors Mario Torres Jarrín (Pontifical University of Salamanca, Spain), Nuno Cunha Rodrigues (University of Lisbon, Portugal), and Walter Arévalo Ramírez (University of Rosario, Colombia). They are all members of the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate BRIDGE Watch.
On October 23, at 10:00 a.m., in collaboration with the “XXVI Semana Jurídica da UFSC”, the seminar “Europa em Transformação: História, Identidade e Valores” will be held, featuring Professors Aline Beltrame de Moura, Mario Torres Jarrín, and Danielle de Ouro Mamed.
