BRIDGE Watch announces the full availability, in digital format and with free access, of the second edition of the course “Globalizing the Values and Democracy of the European Union.” This edition was recorded in September 2025 at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Chile and can now be accessed directly on the project’s website.
The program addresses strategic themes such as the Rule of Law, digital transformation, and sustainable development, highlighting the need for innovative, cooperative, and transnational responses to contemporary global challenges.
Structured into three thematic modules—Building Democracy in Latin America; Digital Transformation and Innovative Solutions; and Green Transitions and Sustainable Societies—the course offers a comprehensive and integrated perspective on pathways to institutional and social strengthening.
The training explores the fundamental values of the European Union and their relevance to democratic consolidation processes in Latin America, promoting dialogue and the exchange of knowledge between the two regions. It is intended for legal professionals, diplomats, academics, public servants, and all those interested in contemporary challenges to democracy.
