This edition marks a record number of papers selected through the Call for Papers, which will be presented at the Workshop: 60 papers by 91 authors. Over four days, the seminar will bring together 120 speakers from 19 countries, along with international participants, in a diverse program that includes:

– Opening Seminar on digital transformation and innovative solutions
– Training Course on digital transformation
– Advanced Course on democracy and the rule of law in the EU and Latin America
– Workshop with presentations of selected academic papers

The seminar is part of the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate “BRIDGE Watch: Values and Democracy in the EU and Latin America”, co-funded by the European Commission. Bringing together 14 universities from Latin America and Europe under the coordination of the University of Lisbon and the Federal University of Santa Catarina, the initiative also counts on the support of international and regional institutions, reinforcing the collaborative, interdisciplinary, and global spirit of the project.
