The Jean Monnet Chair of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brazil), coordinated by Prof. Aline Beltrame de Moura, invites the academic community to attend the inaugural lecture of semester 25.2.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Joseph Thompson, Director of the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights (IIDH), linked to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, and of the Center for Electoral Promotion and Assistance (CAPEL).

The event will take place online on August 20, 2025, at 11 a.m. (Brasília time, GMT -3).
