The Latin American Journal of European Studies's 9th issue is published!

The ninth issue of the Latin American Journal of European Studies has just been published. It is a publication of the Latin American Center of European Studies, currently supported by the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate “BRIDGE Watch”, with funding from the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission.

The main purpose of the Journal is to publish research related to the European Union Law and Policies and International Relations of the European Union with third countries and Latin America to create new knowledge, build bridges of dialogue, as well as exchange good practices between European Union and Latin America.

The ninth edition of the Journal also has a thematic dossier on “Human Rights, Dignity, and Equality: A Dialogue between Latin America and Europe,” theme of the IX Jean Monnet Network – BRIDGE Seminar, held from April 7 to 9, 2025, at Universidad del Salvador (USAL), Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The 2025-1 edition brings together 18 scientific papers from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, and Uruguay. In addition, it features an interview with Dr. María Alejandra Mángano, Co-Head of the Prosecutor’s Office for Trafficking and Exploitation of Persons (PROTEX) and the Office of the Attorney General, in Argentina, as well as a critical review.
