From October 5 to 7, the Universidad de la República (Udelar), in partnership with LACES, welcomed 190 participants for three days of academic discussions, training activities, and research presentations on “Green Transition and Sustainable Societies.”

Highlights included:

🔹 Opening Seminar at Uruguay’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with representatives from the European Union Delegation, Udelar, the Uruguayan Parliament, and civil society.

🔹 Presentation of the “BRIDGE Watch Reports: Key Findings and Conclusions.”

🔹 Training Course on Green Transition and Sustainable Societies for public officials and other interested participants.

🔹 Award Ceremony of the Young Researchers Contest.

🔹 Research workshop featuring eight thematic panels and 32 papers presented by 55 researchers affiliated with institutions in 10 countries.

Co-funded by the European Union and coordinated by @ulisboaoficial and @ufsc_oficial, BRIDGE Watch promotes academic and institutional cooperation between Europe and Latin America.
