The meeting will focus on the application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) in some American legal systems and its influence on the national legislations of the region.

It will also present the book published by Société de Législation Comparée in 2020, for the 40th Anniversary of the CISG, and be the opportunity to discuss with the editors and some authors - Iacyr de Aguilar Vieira (Universidade Federal de Viçosa), Gustavo Cerqueira (Université de Nîmes), Franco Ferrari (NYU School of Law), Carlos De Cores (Universidad Católica del Uruguay), Alejandro M. Garro (Columbia Law School), Naiara Posenato (Università degli Studi di Milano).
