LAUNCH BUTTON: the Jean Monnet Policy Debate "BRIDGE WATCH: Values and Democracy in the EU and Latin America" begins today!

Today the new Jean Monnet project's activities officially begin! The main goal of the BRIDGE WATCH, which is funded by the ‚ÄúJean Monnet Policy Debate: Foreign Policy Issues of the Erasmus+ Programme‚ÄĚ, remains to build bridges of dialogue and exchange of best practices with focus on civil society, stakeholders, policymakers and scientific researchers.

The grant of a new Erasmus + project is a recognition of the quality of the work that has been developed over the last years under the BRIDGE Project and marks the beginning of a new era for the BRIDGE Consortium!

This new format counts with fourteen institutional partners, six from the original BRIDGE Project, Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil), University of Lisbon (Portugal), University of Sevilla (Spain), University of Milan (Italy), National Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexico), and University of Rosario (Colombia); and other eigh joining the new BRIDGE WATCH, which are Pontifical University of Salamanca (Spain), National University of Trujillo (Peru), Central University of Ecuador (Ecuador), Major University of San Andrés (Bolivia), National University of Asuncion (Paraguay), Republic University (Uruguay), University of Chile (Chile) and University of Salvador (Argentina).

Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that the "BRIDGE WATCH: Values and Democracy in the EU and Latin America" is under the coordination of Professor Nuno Cunha Rodrigues, from University of Lisbon and Professor Aline Beltrame de Moura, from Federal University of Santa Catarina, who currently coordinated the BRIDGE Project. This project will last for at least 36 months and has funding of almost 1.200.000,00 euros from the Erasmus+ Program.
