BRIDGE Project announces the award result of the IV Workshop Jean Monnet Network

The BRIDGE Project is pleased to announce  the two articles contemplated with the award of the Call for Papers for the V Workshop of the Jean Monnet Network - BRIDGE "El Derecho Internacional privado en las relaciones entre la Unión Europea y América Latina", that took place on April 19th, 2023 at the Universidad de Sevilla, Spain.

Title of the article: - El Convenio Europeo de Derechos Humanos y su incidencia en el derecho a la vida familiar de las personas extranjeras

Lucía Padilla Espinosa – Graduated in Law, Master in Acces to Advocacy and Master in Business Legal Advice at the University of Huelva and PhD student in Family Rights of Migrants in Spain from the perspective of International, European and National Obligations at the University of Huelva.

Title of the article: Certificado Europeu de Parentalidade: aspectos sobre a Proposta de Reconhecimento de Filiação de Casais Homoparentais na União Europeia

Carolina Attuati – Attorney. Master´s student in International Economic and Sustainable Trade Law at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with a CAPES scholarship. Specialist in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at Fundação Escola Superior do Ministério Público (FMP/RS).

Maurício Dal Pozzo Schneider - Attorney. Master´s student in International Economic and Sustainable Trade Law at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with a CNPQ scholarship. Specialist in Customs Law and Brazilian Foreign Trade at University of the Vale do Itajaí (UNIVALI).

Vanessa Thalia Ramos - Attorney. Master´s student in International Economic and Sustainable Trade Law at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with a CAPES scholarship. Specialist in Family and Successions Law at Instituição Damásio de Direito - Faculdade IBMEC. 

The selected articles will receive an award equivalent to EUR 250 each and will be published in the Thematic Dossier of the 5th Edition of the Latin American Journal of European Studies.

The Organizing Committee congratulates once again the participation of all authors, professors, researchers and interested parties that made it possible to hold an excellent debate promoted within the framework of the V Workshop of the Jean Monnet Network - BRIDGE "El Derecho Internacional privado en las relaciones entre la Unión Europea y América Latina".
