Bridge

The Jean Monnet Network “Building Rights and Developing Knowledge between European Union and Latin-America - BRIDGE” is a project developed under the Erasmus + Program of the European Commission (620744-EPP-1-2020-1-BR-EPPJMO-NETWORK) and aims to promote study and research on European integration in Latin America in order to build bridges of dialogue and exchange of good practices between regions.

This network project is led by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) under the coordination of Professor Aline Beltrame de Moura, with the following institutional partners: Nuno Cunha Rodrigues from the University of Lisbon (Portugal), Beatriz Campuzano from the University of Sevilla (Spain), Naiara Posenato from the University of Milan (Italy), Manuel Becerra-RamĂrez from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexico), Sandra Negro from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), Walter Arevalo from the University of Rosario (Colombia) and professors Cristiane Derani, Joana Stezer and Marco AntĂ´nio CĂ©sar Villatore also from UFSC.

The BRIDGE Project encourages debate and reflection on the integration process of the European Union and its relations with Latin America through the following central actions: publication of an open access scientific journal; the constant informative feed of the Observatory on European Studies; the organization of an annual competition for monographs by young researchers and the promotion of courses and events in the countries of partner universities.
