The first week of May is always marked by celebrations of the so-called Europe Week. Given the current prominence of the European Union on the international stage, more than ever, it is necessary to reconsider its role and its new perspectives. Therefore, a series of lectures and activities related to “Europe Week” will be held from May 6th to 9th, 2024, encompassing a diverse range of both online and in-person engagements.

The event is jointly organized by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) – WISDOM II; the Jean Monnet Chair at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC); the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate – Bridge Watch at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (USFC); the Jean Monnet Chair at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) – Transition; and the Jean Monnet Module at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) – FREECEU.
