It aims to encourage the publishing of experiences and good practices in the field of regional and European integration as a toll to develop the concepts of legal cooperation and international politics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thereby, it aims to assist Latin American and European academics, lawyers and stakeholders to keep updated about the main events in European Union and in Europe in general, as well as its external repercussions, especially in the Latin America.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25e6 Rules for submission\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25aa The Observatory accepts submissions written in English, Spanish and Portuguese. \u25aa The Observatory prioritizes unpublished texts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25aa Thematic Areas:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Current legal and political issues and news concerning European Union and Europe in general in all different expressions and\/or its repercussions in relations between Europe and Latin America.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25aa Authorship:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Submissions from academics, young researchers and members of civil society are welcome.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Undergraduates texts will be accepted only in co-authorship with at least graduate students or professionals in that area.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Co-authorship will be limited to three authors.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25aa Types of contribution:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Observatory prioritizes the publication of news, insights related to legal and political European events. It also publishes brief comments about new European jurisprudence that provoke the interest of the international community. Texts outside these formats (publications, conferences and events, call for papers, etc.) may exceptionally be accepted upon prior analysis.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The opinions expressed in the texts are of only and exclusive responsibility of the author(s), not representing by any means the positions of the Latin American Center of European Studies.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25aa Writing Guidelines:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The authors must send a short biography to be published (up to 20 words for each author).\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Word limit in the text: 500 \u2013 1.500 words\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Line spacing: 1,5\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Citations must be avoided. In case of extreme necessity, the references must be indicated in parenthesis immediately after the citation.
